10 years ago, my body looked very different. It didn't have the scars from various surgeries and weight gain from hormonal imbalances. 10 years ago, I was in a relationship with a man who told me how my body should look and what I should and shouldn't eat.
10 years ago I was a completely different woman,
Seeing the blossoming confidence building in each person I photographed, in turn helped me fall back in love with myself and discover a new appreciation for my body.
and then I found boudoir
My scars tell a story of strength. My past, a story of bravery.
A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine.

On any given day, you'll find me shimmying around behind the scenes, hammering emails and helping clients in any way I can. I might be juggling a baby or two at the same time, but hey- it keeps life interesting!

Hi! I am your mistress of Mayhem aka the photographer here! My favorite thing about being a boudoir photographer is the butterfly transformation of each of the people I work with. From being a bag of nerves at the beginning to walking out, feeling like you could conquer the world. I never get tired of it!

Boudoir is an intimate, and sometimes scary experience and we want to get to know you through the whole process! The best way to do that is a good ol' fashion phone call (sorry introverts! If it helps, it is only 15 minutes of your time!).

I first got connected with Jamie after she shot my sister's wedding in 2018. I'd followed her photography business on Social Media until she posted about hiring help - and that's when I was given the opportunity to get involved with it. Two and a half years later, and I'm still an ever-grateful part of Jamie's team!
I now have FOUR daughters along with a dog and cat (they're the boys!), whom I am lucky to stay home with. We are a family that loves animals, particularly rescues, and stays involved in the local rescue community however we can. I also love nature and enjoy gardening in the spring/summer while growing my indoor plant collection year-round (hit me up for spider plant babies ANY TIME, for real!!)
I come from a female-rich family, and now that I have four girls myself, I find it more important than ever to fiercely embrace and celebrate femininity. I will raise my girls with an ever-present example of female strength, and cultivate in them the confidence and self-love that I always lacked.
Working for Jamie has provided me with a priceless gift, really. I get to witness the constant elevation of other women and be a cog in the wheel of empowerment that she has created. Honey Suckle Boudoir encompasses everything that we SHOULD be raised with as women, but that many of us have been robbed of. Being part of this team lifts me in ways that I will always be thankful for, and it is my honor to help clients in any way I can as they embark on their own journey of self discovery and embrace.

The last 15 years of my life have been insane, to say the least. From escaping an abusive relationship and finding the love of my life, to completely walking away from a career that cost a Master's Degree and building my Boudoir empire, it's been a whirlwind and I'm just getting started!
I originally started my photography business in 2018, offering family and wedding portraiture. I've always felt a deep connection to the art of celebrating others through the lens, but despite my success, something was missing. When I discovered boudoir photography, a new path and purpose opened to me and I have been following it fiercely.
Honey Suckle Boudoir was created not just as a way to expand my art, but as a way to share with others the fulfillment and joy I reap from boudoir. I have the pleasure every day of uplifting others, and I pride myself in holding an inclusive space for both women and nonbinary clients.
When I'm not in the studio photographing boudoir babes and badasses, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, Mark, along with our four fur babies. We're proud to be nerds together and even make it a point to catch the premier showings of every new Marvel movie! We have a ton of fun together and I am forever thankful to have such a supportive, loving man by my side.
I was forged in the fires of my life, but that has made me into the ironclad Goddess that I wish for all of my clients to recognize in themselves!
